In this post I will show you how to add CCleaner to your
internet explorer toolbar.
This add-on will enhance your internet browsing experience.
There are multiple options how you can add this button.
Step
1: Add CCleaner button to Internet Explorer toolbar
- Download CCleaner.zip and save it on your desktop.
- Follow the link above to download it.
- Unzip the archive and extract the content to a folder.
- Now move the CCleaner.ico icon to the “C:\Program Files\CCleaner” directory.
- Double click the ccleaner-button.reg to run it , it’s the registry entry which will make the registry changes automatically after running this.
This adds CCleaner button to the Toolbar in internet
explorer. If the button does not show up by default,
you will have to customize the Command Bar in Internet Explorer . See section "Customize
the Command Bar in Internet Explorer" below.
Note: The above button launches
the main window of CCleaner. You have to select the junk that you want to clear
, and click the Run cleaner button. To add a button that runs CCleaner silently
use the steps below.
Step 2: Add CCleaner (Auto) button to Internet Explorer
toolbar
- Download ccleaner-auto.zip and save it on your desktop.
